Visit one of the most famous skiing resorts in French Alps – Chamonix. Europe’s highest mountain cable car will get you to the summit of Aiguille du Midi (3,842 m). From there you can enjoy breathtaking views of Mont Blanc – the highest peak in Europe (4810 m) – and the surrounding Alps.
It is possible to have lunch at the top station restaurant with the magnificent views.
After that the small alpine train will get you to Montenvers station. This place offers spectacular views of Mer de Glace – the biggest glacier in France (7 kilometres long and 200 metres deep). You will be able to visit the Ice Cave, walk inside the glacier and get some insights of the evolution of our planet.
